Straight Talk With Laura ~ The word "JOB" is anti-freedom ~

The folks who are most controlled are those who get a W2 paycheck.

I spent 10 years doing income taxes. I did them for people of all ages, all races, in many businesses and holding a wide varity of JOBs, who earned incomes in ALL tax brackets.

The FACT is, as an "EMPLOYEE" you trade your FREEDOM to gain what you believe, is SECURITY.

You no longer own your own time, you do not own your own money and those in charge take what they want from you, whenever they want it and then, they do with your money what they deem necessary.

Many a client was a young person, who after college got their first real job. She was EXCITED to do her taxes, thinking she would get if not all, at least most of those dollars she saw in that littled Federal Income Tax Witholding Box, only to leave wondering what just happened and hoping I had made a mistake.

Instead of focusing all our energy on creating jobs for all these kids who spend 10's of thousands on school to learn theory, we should focus some energy and some money on teaching some of our young people how to be successful business builders and business owners.

Thanks Laura for your "Straight Talk"! And in the end, you're SO right in how we should re-orient our education. In fact my belief is that we have "jobbed" our real potential to death, unlike our forefathers who had such great ambitions! What a great topic for discussion!

We need to be more self sufficient, responsible, ambitious and passionate. Those are the things we have moved away from in the interest of finding "Security" and our forefathers would be greatly disappointed to see where we are today. The good news is "No matter how far we go down the wrong road, we can ALWAYS turn around"
